๐Ÿ“… Thursday, August 7, 2025
๐Ÿ•” 5โ€“6 PM
๐Ÿ“ Fitchburg Art Museum, 185 Elm Street, Fitchburg

The Fitchburg Cultural Council wants to hear from YOU!
What kinds of arts, science, and humanities programs do you want to see in our community? This is your chance to shape the future of local cultural grant funding.

๐ŸŒŸ What to Expect

Agenda
Our hour-long forum will begin with a general introduction, giving residents a chance to meet the individuals appointed by the Mayor to represent arts and culture in our community. We will also explain how the Fitchburg Cultural Council operates, including how our grant cycle works. Additionally, we will walk through our new grant scoring model, discussing how funds will be awarded for the 2026 cycle.

Weโ€™re also excited to welcome grantee Derek Craig of Coff33 Corp., who will share his organization's experience as a recipient of an FCC grant; he will speak about the work his organization has done with our support. Itโ€™s our goal that potential 2026 applicants leave with a better understanding of how an FCC grant can benefit their work.

Most importantly, we want to hear from you!
The final half-hour of the meeting is dedicated to community input. Weโ€™ll review our Public Input Survey and invite you to share your thoughts on how our grantmaking can best reflect Fitchburgโ€™s needs. For those who prefer not to speak aloud, a feedback board will be available for written questions and ideas as well as QR codes to direct you to our online survey.

๐Ÿ’ฌ Spanish translation services will be available.

๐Ÿ’ฅ Social Hour: 6โ€“7 PM
Stick around after the forum for a fun and casual social hour, hosted by the Fitchburg Cultural Council!
