Special guest speaker at Recovery Palooza this year! Hear from Zach Thomas, the Executive Director of the Hancock County Board of Alcohol, Drug Addiction, and Mental Health Services. Prior to his appointment as Executive Director, he served as the Director Education and Wellness at the Board, since 2012. Zach has also had a career as a public school teacher, serving as Director of Band at Liberty-Benton Local Schools from 1999-2008. Zach’s community involvement includes serving as a current Board Member of the Findlay Digital Academy, Chair of the Hancock Youth Leadership Advisory Board, a past member of the Findlay-Hancock County Chamber of Commerce Advisory Board, a past member of the Hancock County Board of Alcohol, Drug Addiction and Mental Health Services, and as a current Teaching Artist for the Marathon Center for the Performing Arts. He is a 1999 graduate of Bowling Green State University and a 2018 Graduate of Hancock Leadership.

Happy Recovery Month 💜💚 In September we celebrate all of us! Join us for our annual community celebration Recovery Palooza. On Saturday September 19th from 10am to 2pm we'll have special guest speakers, free food, and plenty of fun for the whole family :) We hope to see you there!

Every life matters. By increasing awareness, reducing stigma, and promoting access to prevention, treatment, recovery support, and life-saving resources, we can make a difference in our community.

Join us as we honor lives lost, celebrate recovery, and renew our commitment to hope, healing, and prevention. August 27th 10-2 at Dorney Plaza, Downtown Findlay.

Did you know coloring, drawing, or viewing their geometric circular designs promotes mental health by reducing stress, lowering anxiety, and inducing a meditative state that calms the nervous system and centers the brain.

Jeff and Nicole ended their day by creating their own Mandela Rock, so relaxing and a great way to be present and grounded!

These quarterly meetings are to support peer professionals as they work in our communities. This month our support meeting is focused on overdose, since August is overdose awareness month! Come by Tuesday August 18th for support and resources 💜
