Self-care is an important part of the healing process for survivors.

Healing takes energy emotionally, mentally, and physically, and caring for yourself along the way helps rebuild the peace, strength, and balance you deserve.

Sometimes self-care looks like rest. Sometimes it is setting boundaries, asking for support, taking a break, eating well, or simply giving yourself grace on hard days.

Small acts of care can make a big difference over time. Healing is not linear, and you do not have to have everything figured out to start taking care of yourself.

Be patient with yourself. The way you care for yourself during healing matters.
