We’re grateful to have Hancock Hotel joining us as an awareness partner for Domestic Violence Awareness Month!

We’re coming together through our campaign to raise awareness about domestic violence and remind survivors that support is available.

Today is Domestic Violence Awareness Day, a time to recognize the impact of domestic violence and the importance of ensuring survivors know support is available.

In 2025, Open Arms provided 9,443 individual services to individuals in our community. Behind every number is a person who deserves safety, support, and the opportunity to move forward.

Here’s a look at the impact of our services last year:

💜 Answered 1,202 crisis calls through our 24-Hour Crisis Hotline.

💜 Provided safe housing to 51 adults and 46 children at our emergency shelter.

💜 Supported 250 children in Hancock County through our Child Advocacy Program.

These numbers represent more than services. They represent people reaching out for help, children receiving support, and survivors taking steps toward safety.

Domestic violence affects our entire community, but together, we can make a difference.
