May is , raising awareness about the importance of safe, affordable housing for every member of our communities.
For domestic violence survivors, housing can make a critical difference: between being able to escape abuse and having no choice but to stay. Tragically, more than 90% of homeless women have been abused at some point in their lives, most by a partner.
NNEDV is committed to creating a world where domestic violence no longer exists, and that means a world where survivors have the resources they need to stay safe — including housing.
