There is

the way I interpret the [my] world
through my senses
limited by my ability to make sense of that input
As an infant - the sense of heat and cold,
how much is too much…
language, flavors
different customs
all these
either limit or expand
the level that I [me] will engage
will have comfort in my world

Then there is
us:
the me’s that share
‘this’ bit [as above]
of the scope of humanity
with you [me].

Then there is
we:
Perhaps you're [my] neighborhood,
the people that shop at the same store
go to the same church,
perhaps all the families
that have a 6th grader
at the same school.

Then there is
We:
French, Greek, Americans
White Americans
Black Americans
English speaking,
Church Goers,
young - old.

And we come to
WE:
Humans - Homosapians
and….
Eyes, Hearts - Wide Open
The Global WE

As,
IN FACT - WE...
WE are All One
The Whole of Earth, Our Solar System,
The Milky Way, The Universe
All of Creation
What me, us, We
do to one
WE do to ALL
That’s IT.
