PYG powers up Georgia's youth. We're the complete package for a successful future.

We handle hunger with daily meals and train kids in the skills that matter: financial literacy, real-world readiness, and academic success.

Sometimes the creator gets it wrong.
I erased this a few weeks ago thinking it wasn’t good. BUT I guess I was wrong!
So it’s back for an encore.
I guess it’s good to be “King”ston. #руд

From PYG:

We at PYG take pride in the success of the 2025–2026 school year which was a milestone that we are incredibly proud to share. It was a year defined by growth, resilience, and a renewed dedication to our core mission. Seeing the direct impact of our meal services—watching students arrive at our afterschool programs fed, focused, and excited to learn—has been a powerful testament to our collective effort. Thanks to the unwavering support of our staff and community, we served thousands of meals and snacks to the students of Atlanta which helped to created a stable, nurturing environment that empowered our kids to reach their full potential.

At Preparing the Youth of Georgia (PYG), our work is rooted in a deep commitment to our community. We aren’t just running afterschool programs; we are building a supportive environment where no student goes hungry and every child receives the needed nourishment to carry them through the rest of their day.

The momentum we built this year is just the beginning. For the 2026–2027 school year, our goal is to bring this same level of support and care to even more schools throughout the Atlanta area. We recognize the ongoing need, and we are working hard to expand our reach to ensure more youth have the resources to thrive both in and out of the classroom.

To better connect with our community, we are currently finalizing a complete overhaul of our website. We are excited to share this new space soon, as it will serve as the hub for our operations. The site will provide the impact of our actions, and stay updated on our upcoming programs. It will also highlight our partnerships, as we are actively looking for new sponsors who share our passion for youth development. Finally, the new site will make it easier than ever to contribute; every donation directly funds the meals and enrichment programs that change lives every single day.

Thank you for believing in this mission. We look forward to welcoming you to our new digital home very soon—and more importantly, we look forward to cotinuing this journey alongside you to support our youth.

Finally, a massive thank you to everyone who has followed our journey across our social media platforms:
