3D printing is transforming construction by enabling more efficient, precise, and customizable fabrication of structural elements. Polymer concrete (PC), with its adaptable fresh-state behavior and strong mechanical performance, offers a promising pathway for advancing this technology. This webinar presents a practical, step-by-step framework for designing and implementing 3D-printed PC structures, from mixture design to full-scale applications. The session will cover how to tailor PC mixtures for dimensional stability and 3D-printability, and how to evaluate performance using deformation-based metrics. It will also explore early-age behavior to ensure stable layer-by-layer construction.

The webinar will further discuss the evaluation of polymer concrete as a non-metallic sustainable building material, integrating life-cycle assessment and life-cycle cost analysis to assess its environmental and economic performance relative to conventional systems. By the end of the session, participants will gain a clear understanding of how to develop and implement high-performance, sustainable 3D-printed polymer concrete for modern construction applications.
