Greetings, Breathe Family!

Last night I had the esteemed pleasure of attending the Francis P. Rhodes Memorial, MD Lecture. The Wayne County Medical Society of Southeastern Michigan hosted it. Held at the beautiful Detroit Golf Club

Dr. Aisha Harris, MD, FAAFP, was the keynote speaker. Her topic was "Air Pollution, Health Equity, and the Impact of Our Environment on Patient Care. Her compassion, expertise, and knowledge had me deeply engaged. It left me feeling that we can make a difference in the lives of people most affected by air quality, health equity, and climate change. If you were in the room, you were blessed.

Dr. Harris highlighted the need to advocate and speak up about the health and environmental injustices we face. I am inspired and reassured that change is possible.
