📢NEU will be at COP31!

➡️The Government of Türkiye will host the 31 Conference of the Parties of the UNFCCC (COP 31) on Monday, November 9 to Friday, November 20, 2026. COP 31 will be held at the Antalya EXPO Center in Soğucaksu, Antalya.

COP (Conference of the Parties) is the highest-level global climate summit held annually under the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC), which was adopted in 1992. Bringing together heads of state, ministers, scientists, business leaders, and civil society representatives from around the world, COP serves as the primary platform for negotiating and advancing collective action to combat climate change. COP31 marks the 31st session of this global process and will be hosted by Türkiye in 2026.

Great discussions, strong engagement, and high attendance made the ACI Foundation & NEU Fall Summit: Increasing the Pace of Change: Working Together for Better Concrete Across the Value Chain a tremendous success!

Researchers shared the latest advances in emerging materials and technologies to enhance resilience, durability, efficiency, and performance of concrete infrastructure, while industry leaders demonstrated how these innovations are being applied to real-world construction challenges. The summit highlighted the power of collaboration across the value chain to accelerate innovation and deliver better outcomes for our built environment.

Thank you to all speakers, participants, and organizers for making this event such a valuable and inspiring experience.

The Bauxite 2 in Frederick County, MD, USA, is one of the first hyperscale data center sites in the country to use carbon-negative cement in sidewalks. The site is being developed by Rowan Digital Infrastructure, in partnership with Suffolk Construction and Prometheus Materials.
