Applications are open for the ACI Foundation’s 2027–2028 academic year. Each year, the Foundation supports high-potential undergraduate and graduate students pursuing concrete-related degrees and prepares them for meaningful careers in the industry.

Program Highlights:
• 50 fellowships and scholarships available
• Fellowship educational stipend of $10,000 USD, plus convention travel and recognition
• Scholarship educational stipend of $5,000 USD
• Two student excellence awards for students studying in eligible Middle East and North Africa (MENA) countries

The ACI Foundation and NEU: An ACI Center of Excellence for Carbon Neutral Concrete will co-host their first Summit on Saturday, October 10, 2026, from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM, immediately before the ACI Concrete Convention in Atlanta, GA.

The Summit, "Increasing the Pace of Change: Working Together for Better Concrete Across the Value Chain," stems from ACI Foundation-funded research conducted between 2024 and 2026 that identified key barriers across the concrete pavement value chain and developed actionable strategies to accelerate the adoption of emerging materials and technologies.

The Summit will bring together researchers, industry professionals, and experts from academia and government to present findings and share how those strategies are being applied to real-world challenges.
