Carousel of Light

Carousel of Light This beautiful hand-carved carousel was created by Falmouth artist Lance Shinkle in the early 1990s. Joyous music fills the air as the horses go 'round.

A beloved fixture of Falmouth Village, the carousel has delighted local residents and visitors to Falmouth since 2013. One of the few remaining carousels of its kind in the United States, kids and adults alike flock to this Cape Cod institution every summer. Brightly colored hand-carved horses spin around the cheery red and white striped top. Take a ride on Patriot, Butterscotch or everyone's favorite, Pearl.

BUT, Monday September7th and Monday, October12th, we will be open 11a.m.-3p.m.

School is starting tomorrow, August 31st in Falmouth and we wish Falmouth students and ALL students everywhere a great school year!!
