🇺🇸 Falmouth Scouting Honors Our Heroes 🇺🇸
The rain mostly held off this morning as Falmouth Scouting units turned out in full force for the annual Memorial Day Parade and Ceremony. Together, our youth and volunteers honored the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country.
We marched from the Falmouth Village Green to the moving ceremony on Memorial Lane at the Falmouth Public Library.
It was incredible to see a strong, unified presence from across our local Scouting community. Youth from Pack 41, Troop 38, Troop 42, Troop 236, and local Girl Scout troops were well-represented today—either proudly marching in uniform, serving in leadership roles, or playing with their school bands!
A few special highlights from the morning:
🪖 The Falmouth Scouting Honor Guard—composed of youth from Pack 41, Troop 38, and Troop 42—marched at the front of the parade and stood proudly near the podium during the ceremony.
🇺🇸 Scouts from Pack 41 and Troop 38 stood before the community to lead the entire audience in the Pledge of Allegiance.
⚜️ Senior Patrol Leaders and flag bearers led their respective units with pride along the route.
Thank you to all the families, leaders, and community members who came out to support our youth as they took part in this vital annual tradition. We are so proud of how well these young people represented the values of Scouting today.
