Finding a moment of peace can make all the difference when navigating the challenges of ALS. Leah -- who spoke at CCALS’ 2024 Gala -- shares that a retreat in Colorado with CCALS Grief and Bereavement Care Liaison, Brenda, was a much-needed breath of fresh air for her and her family. "She opened her home to us for a few nights and I was able to sneak away from the chaos to enjoy a massage and a few hours of relaxation. For the years of love and support I received from CCALS, I will be forever grateful."

A loyal companion can change everything, especially when they have a wagging tail and a heart of gold. 🐾 For Paul and his family, Sunny was the ultimate teammate—opening doors, running errands, and staying by his side when no one else could. "She took great care of him... Luckily for us, Sunny is now a retired service dog and is living the dream with our mother on Nantucket. Thank you, Sunny!"
