Thinking about making an IRA gift this year?

To ensure your gift to Bristol Community College counts for 2025, your IRA funds must physically leave your account by December 31, 2025. The easiest method is a Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD)—a direct transfer from your IRA to the Bristol Community College Foundation.

The IRA charitable rollover (also called the Qualified Charitable Distribution, or QCD) is a great way to make a tax-free gift to Bristol Community College Foundation.

Our Bayhawks show what teamwork, dedication, and school pride are all about — especially our men’s and women’s basketball teams, who bring so much energy to every game.

When we “highlight athletics,” it’s not just about competition — it’s about celebrating the commitment, leadership, and spirit that make Bristol special.

The college’s athletics program and specialized services for student-athletes will continue to support our players, academically and professionally, throughout their Bristol experience.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for the 2025 Manhattan Short Film Festival! Bristol hosted three showings across two campuses. On Thursday, Sept. 25, we welcomed students, faculty, community members, and friends and family of Dr. Harris to the Fall River campus. Then on Friday and Saturday, Sept. 26-27, we hosted two showings at Bristol's Attleboro campus. A total of over 350 people joined us to watch this year's finalists!

There are over 100,000 viewers of these films throughout the world during this one-week period, and all viewers vote on the Best Picture and Best Actor.

Among Bristol's viewers, the Best Picture pick was We Have Sinned Before You, from Israel. (The photo is a still from that film.) The Best Actor pick by Bristol viewers is Henrianne Jansen of the film Beyond Silence from The Netherlands.

The overall winner of the Manhattan Short Film Festival awards will be announced on Monday, Oct. 6! https://www.manhattanshort.com/
