We open tonight! The 2026 Art and Design Faculty Exhibition launches at 6pm. Please join us as we celebrate the final show of 2026, our anniversary year.
The show features works by David Barnes, Matthew Napoli, Erik Durant, Alison Paige Borges, Brooke Mullins Doherty, David Graves, Kathleen Hancock, Kat Knutsen, Michael Silvia, and Maryellen Atkins!

First-year Nursing students are preparing to do a head-to-toe assessment by outlining bodily systems to determine a patient's wellbeing.
Their studies will lead them into clinical assignments where they will learn to assess real patients under the guidance of their professor.
We think they did a great job and can't wait to see them put their skills to use in clinicals! 🙌👩‍⚕️

What does it mean to do good in your community?

Paul Cuffe believed that success meant more than personal wealth. He used his resources to create opportunities for others, supporting education, providing jobs for Black and Indigenous mariners, and strengthening his community.

Nearly 250 years later, that spirit is alive at Bristol.

Do you know who Paul Cuffe was?

Born in 1759 to an African father and a Wampanoag mother, Paul Cuffe was a mariner, entrepreneur, and activist who challenged the status quo. When Massachusetts taxed free Black men without giving them the right to vote, Cuffe protested, helping set the stage for a change in the law.
