RABC has been around for almost 30 years, started by Ray Cantelmo, Sr. His son, Ray Cantelmo, Jr., took it over 5+years ago and added a girls program. A little over a year ago, we rebranded to RABC + Work Harder Academy to better align with and reflect the skills training focus of its sister business, Work Harder Training, creating a more cohesive and unified brand identity. We are based out of Fa
ll River, MA. All torunaments we play in are in the MA/RI area, with some of our older teams traveling once a season out of state. RABC as boys and girls teams from 3rd grade to the high school levels. RABC has THREE primary goals. RABC's MAIN focus is building a better basketball player. We accomplish this by teaching them the fundamentals of not only the game, but also about teamwork. Each player will learn the basics from seasoned coaches and trainers. We supply each player with written drills that demonstrate how to do them, this way they can practice them even while shooting hoops with friends at the local court. We also offer one on one training in speed, weight lifting and skill training. Questions about one on one training please contact [email protected]. RABC is committed to turning out future college basketball players. If a player has the skill and desire to play at a college level, we will work extremely hard to get that player to realize that dream. Over the last 3 years alone, we have had over 26 players recruited to play college ball. Here at RABC we STRESS academics as a crucial part of training, we make sure that our players know there is no future in basketball if there academics fail. Lastly RABC is proud to say that we have made joining our program a financial possibility. We understand in these tough economic times that people are feeling the crunch of the "extras". Rest assure your child will still get an excellent basketball training experience that is affordable. The home courts of RABC are the Wheeler Field House and Providence Country Day. We compete in tournament play locally in New England. Keep checking back to this site for upcoming information about RABC including practice and game schedules! Thank you for taking the time to visit our site, if you have any questions or comments about the program or would like more information on enrollment please feel free to contact me. Sincerely,
Ray Cantelmo - RABC Director
