Today, our veterans got to meet Patrice Wood and The Veterans' Kitchen received a Community Treasure plaque. We were so honored to have been able to show her what we have been doing for 7 years now. She even spoke to some of our veterans and I am sure, heard some great stories. The episode of The Kitchen will be aired on Veterans Day, November 11th at 6 p.m.

Wednesday, October 28th, we will be serving Chow Mein Sandwich and Rice Pudding for dessert. You may dine in or take it to-go.

We can't wait to see you all. Doors open at 10 a.m. , lunch is served at 11 a.m. Please remember, if you feel sick, please stay home.

Today The Veterans' Kitchen, hosted its first luncheon in Swansea at The American Legion Post #303 Swansea, MA .. 100 meals was severed today. Thank you 303, for giving us the opportunity to bring what we do in Fall River, here to Swansea. Thank you to Community Connections Inc. and team as well as the kitchens volunteers for a job well done. Things like this, wouldn't be possible without all of you. Very grateful to have Father Rob ( Blessed Trinity PNCC )to bless our meal. We were honored to serve those who signed a blank check with their lives so we can live freely..
