The Workforce Development Board of Solano County is hiring a Director of Business Services & Registered Apprenticeship Programs.

This director will lead our Business Services unit, work with employers to support business growth and local employment opportunities, oversee employer-based training contracts, help develop and maintain Registered Apprenticeship Programs, and coordinate organization-wide events.

🎓 What’s ahead for education in Solano County?

Join community leaders, policymakers, businesses, and key stakeholders for the 2026 Solano County Education Legislative Policy Forum on Thursday, Dec. 3.

Presenters will address significant local and statewide education policy issues that could impact Solano County in the coming year. Hear directly from policymakers and subject-matter experts, including Solano WDB President/Executive Director Dave Hubble, one of six featured speakers.

The forum is hosted by the 100 Club of Solano and Yolo Counties and offers an opportunity to stay informed, hear different perspectives and engage in conversations about the future of education in our region.
