At Leaven Kids, we believe every child has a story worth celebrating and a heritage worth honoring.

This Hispanic Heritage Month, our students gathered for a special story time featuring a book about the meaning and significance of names. Through discussion and a creative name activity, children explored their own names, shared their backgrounds, and learned that their names carry history, culture, family, and identity.

💙 We want every child to know that they can be proud of who they are, where they come from, and the unique story they bring to our community.

By celebrating diversity and fostering belonging, we're helping children grow in confidence, respect, and appreciation for one another.

☀️😩🔥 How do we beat the 95-degree heat at Leaven Kids?

Recently, our students cooled off by ice dyeing socks, combining science, creativity, and plenty of fun. 🧦❄️ Watching the ice melt and colors blend together was the perfect way to turn a hot afternoon into a hands-on learning experience.

🍦🚔 A sweet surprise at our Groves site in Fairfield!

Recently, the Fairfield Police Department stopped by with their brand-new Frosty 5-0 ice cream van, bringing smiles, treats, and positive connections to our students. 💙

The Frosty 5-0 is a new community outreach initiative designed to bring Fairfield PD directly into neighborhoods, schools, and community events, one ice cream cone at a time. Our kids loved the visit and the opportunity to connect with local officers in such a fun way!

A big thank you to the Fairfield Police Department and the Fairfield Community Services Foundation for investing in creative ways to strengthen our community. We can't wait to see Frosty 5-0 rolling through Fairfield again! 🍦✨
