When planning a trip, download the relevant languages of the emergency card for the locations you will visit using HAEi's app, HAE Companion. The emergency cards are easily added to your device's wallet – and can be removed just as easily. You can store as many emergency cards as needed.

HAE Companion also has a global overview of HAE-knowledgeable healthcare facilities and Member Organizations, and an improved map function with geofencing, which means the app can send you push messages on the move 🌎

Deep impact: Measuring the success of global HAE advocacy 🙌 🌎️

2025 was a busy year. A new Pope. Taylor Swift’s engagement. The start of the KPop Demon Hunters phenomenon. New leaders in the United States, Canada, Japan, and Germany, to name just a few.

It was also a busy year for HAE advocacy, as shown in the new HAEi Impact Report for 2025, which is now available on the HAEi website.

The HAEi Impact Report for 2025 highlights a year of steady progress, finding that more people received a diagnosis and that ever more Member Organizations reported the availability of modern HAE medication.

A message of support to our friends in Colombia 🫶 🇨🇴

The entire HAE International (HAEi) family is deeply saddened by the devastating earthquake that has struck Colombia and the loss and suffering it has caused.

Our thoughts are with everyone who has lost loved ones, those who have been injured, and all the families and communities whose lives have been changed by this tragedy. We know that many people are still facing uncertainty, and we sincerely hope that those who remain missing are found safely.

As a global community of 107 Member Organizations, we are thinking of our friends in Colombia today. Please know that you are not alone. We send our heartfelt condolences, our support, and our wishes for strength, comfort, and healing in the time ahead.
