As Hispanic Heritage Month comes to an end, we want to take a moment to celebrate and highlight some of the amazing Latina women in our Panhellenic community! 💜✨
We’re so proud to recognize their cultures, traditions, and the heritage that makes each of them unique. 🫶🏽
What makes you proud of your Hispanic/latina heritage?
Coming from a nation where culture predominates everything, and where people are proud of their roots, I carry the flag proudly with me everywhere I go. Born and raised in Ecuador makes me proud of the woman I am, a strong Latina with goals and dreams that no one can put down. Because no matter how hard it gets for Latinxs, we the immigrants get the job done.
I’m proud of my Hispanic/Latina heritage because of our strong family values, beautiful traditions, and the strength of our community. I love being able to celebrate my culture and share it with others.
My heritage connects me to my family and my Indigenous roots. It reminds me that I come from generations of people whose strength, traditions, and stories deserve to be remembered. Being Bolivian means honoring those who came before me, taking pride in our culture, and carrying it forward so that part of us is never lost.
What makes me proud of my Hispanic heritage is the culture, traditions, and values that have been passed down through my family. I’m proud of my Bolivian roots and the way our culture brings people together through music, dance, food, and family. My heritage is a big part of who I am, and I love being able to represent my culture and share it with others. It reminds me of where I come from and the importance of staying connected to my roots.
I’m proud of the importance Venezuelan culture places on family, staying connected, and supporting one another. My heritage reminds me of the value of maintaining close relationships with the people I love.
