As Saletta undergoes treatment for colon cancer, she's using her experience to raise awareness – especially among younger adults – to listen to their bodies and seek care if something feels off. Symptoms like stomach pain, abdominal discomfort or stool bleeding shouldn't be ignored.

🎵 A lifelong music lover, Saletta finds strength in music, calling her infusion room "Club Chemo." Thanks to live music played by an artist-in-residence through Inova Schar Cancer's Arts & Healing program – fully funded by Inova Foundation donors – treatment days become moments of comfort, connection, and hope.

🦝🏃‍♀️ Join Mantua Elementary School Kids Care Club and W.T. Woodson Young Hearts Club for the Mantua Raccoon Run! The excitement kicks off with the 1-mile fun run at 8:00 am, followed by the 5k at 8:30 am. This run benefits Peterson Life with Cancer while honoring the life and legacy of Mrs. Roberta Romano, a beloved Mantua Elementary School teacher who passed away from cancer in December 2001. Her memory continues to bring the community together in support and remembrance.
