Jerry and Chrissy adopted!!

These sweet siblings were adopted together!! Yay!! Jerry and Chrissy were brought up by Mamma Felicia, when they were found motherless.. Momma Felicia had no issues stepping in and taking care of them just like they were her very own. Such a good Mamma❤️

Mamma Felicia was adopted with her biological kitten Jack several months ago.

We are so happy Jerry and Chrissy get to live their lives out together, as they were very bonded from the start.

Big thanks to foster Mom Angie that took them in when they were found in a pinch! Then foster families Stewart’s and Hawkins’s for tackling and tag teaming this sweet family here in San Antonio.

Then off to Port Angeles where they have been fostered several months with foster Momma Heather and crew. There, they learned to enjoy the company of cats, dogs and humans. Heather and her family prepared these kids wonderfully for their forever homes. It’s not always easy with shy kitties. We so much appreciate the patience and love they gave these 2 kids.

We can’t help animals without our fosters! So thank you!!

Now they are enjoying their new digs, which includes a catio! Lucky cats!!

Pretzel adopted!

Pretzel was part of a hoarding situation where he was living with multiple small dogs with senior owners that could not deliver proper care or attention. When they both died the family did not want them. He was pulled out and put in foster care to rehabilitate physically and mentally. All the dogs were socially off and we suspected physical abuse.

Unfortunately, Pretzel was recently diagnosed with a very rare form of cancer. There is not a real good pathway to a cure, and it’s so rare that there really even isn’t much data on it. So sadly, after his initial surgery to remove the tumor and consultations with Oncology, it was decided just to let Pretzel enjoy whatever time he has left. We did not want to put him through anymore needless suffering.

His gracious foster family has adopted him into their home and he will continue to be loved and cared for by the only “ normal” loving home he’s ever had.

We are so grateful to our foster families that continue to show up for the dogs. Pretzel has been getting spoiled since he arrived at his foster home and making his days happy and peaceful is just what will be done.

Sometimes in rescue, you don’t exactly get the happy ending that you wanted.

We hope Pretzel still has a good amount of time to enjoy with his family. He is really such a sweet boy.♥️

Lily adopted!!

Yay Lily!! This sweet girl landed her forever home! Poor kid had been just bred and bred and bred, teeth were rotten, so she lost them all, except 4. She was still actively nursing when she was brought in.. oh my gawd people suck… and she’s a senior to make it all worse😡😡

That is all in the rear view mirror!! No more of that for Lily! Now she spends her time loving on her humans and canine siblings. She’s still healing, but she’s well on her way!!

Farrah adopted!! With Koda!!

What’s better than being adopted?? Being adopted with your best friend Koda!! Both of these sweet huskys were once up for adoption, but once they found each other, it was love at first sight!! A sisterhood was formed and the foster family just could not separate them!!

Koda came from a backyard breeder in really rough shape, and Farrah was left at a Southside apartment complex when her family moved out without her😡😡

Both these girl had terrible, sad starts, but found love with one another. They spend their days, snoozing, swimming, running the ranch and getting in trouble… together♥️♥️

Big thanks to Rae and Stu for the foster love!! We can’t help dogs without fosters!! And they stepped up Big Time!!

Update!! Choco here!!

Well we got out of the Sand Plant today!! We found out we both have chips. The good news is, my new gal pal, Princess got reunited with her humans, but the bad news is, my humans denied that they ever owned a dog like me. 😓. But that’s ok, cause in the long run, Pacos has my back now. We got pampered and had a nice Spa day. We are hanging out in boarding. We were smelling awful and had alot of fleas and sand on us. Paco’s is going to find me a much better life, than living at the Sand Plant. But I am forever grateful for Rich and the guys for taking care of me, and all of us, for all this time.

I’m going to miss Princess, she’s a bit sick, so I hope she will be ok. I’m happy she has a family. My other gal pal, Jewels, has healed her fractured leg and is in foster care now, and looking for a forever home. I’ll be on the hunt for one too. I am ONE BIG GOOF! I already have some fans!! The Vet staff say I look like a GSP/ Lab X, and very, very handsome ..65 lbs.

Its raining kittens!! We were able to help 2 because of an amazing foster!

Meeko is a beautiful Siamese, male. Very playful, smart, affectionate.

Anna Lee is a sweet, black, curious, playful, gentle female.

They are friends and fostered together but can be adopted separately or together.

Both are around 10 weeks old and working on their vetting. They can continue their vetting in permanent home local to San Antonio, Tx and can travel out of state once vetting is completed.

Angel for adoption!!

I have no idea why some dogs stick around, and Angel is one of them. Angel was found hiding behind an AC in a busy business district of downtown SA. She appeared traumatized by something. Good Sams picked her up and got her to us. She was able to get past her “past” with the love and care of her foster family. She had obviously been through something we don’t know or understand 🥲

Angel has been in foster care for months! We have no idea why!! She’s what we call a “ soft dog”. Gentle, sweet, loving, happy, likes car rides, walking, water, adventures, dogs, cats, kids and chickens. She is crate trained and house trained, she is still a teenager, so puppy behavior does come and go.

She has been working with a trainer and knows her “sits” and “ downs”, stay is harder but she’s getting it. She loves her foster brother and her people. She bonds very tightly to her humans, and needs a home that’s active, someone whose home a lot, not a full time worker, someone who can commit to her continued training. She would be best as a second dog, as dog support is very important to Angel. Angel needs a fenced yard and companionship. She’d like to go everywhere with you.

This gal is just gorgeous with her unique eyes and coat! Not sure of breed, but maybe Husky? Shepherd? Catahoula in there? She’s 50 lbs.

2 week foster needed!!

Choco is Jewels best friend. We left him at the Sand Plant because we did not have a foster for him and indefinite boarding is not sustainable 😓. We have been pleading for weeks. He now has a chance to move out of state June 8 th. We desperately need a 2 week foster to get his vetting updated and prepare him for travel.

Very dog friendly. Very human friendly. Cats unknown.

Only 2 weeks to save a life… please.
