πΊπΈ Community Resource Spotlight: TBI Warrior Foundation
VFW Post 4676 had the opportunity to welcome representatives from the TBI Warrior Foundation during our General Meeting and learn more about the work they are doing for veterans, families, caregivers, and others living with brain injuries.
The TBI Warrior Foundation works to improve quality of life through programs focused on rehabilitation and vocational counseling, access to care, caregiver support, education, and community integration.
Their story is also deeply rooted in the veteran community. The Foundation grew from the experiences of retired Army SFC Victor L. Medina, a combat-wounded Purple Heart recipient who sustained a traumatic brain injury while serving in Iraq, and Dr. Roxana E. Delgado, his wife, advocate, and caregiver.
We appreciate the TBI Warrior Foundation taking the time to visit VFW Post 4676 and share their mission with our members.
Organizations like this are important resources for our veteran community, and we encourage our members, families, and community supporters to learn more about the services they provide.
πΊπΈ Veterans helping veterans. Communities supporting communities.
