A couple of days ago, our future Olympian, Delilah, had the privilege of stopping by the Boys & Girls Club of Boerne to present brand-new backpacks to the children of local veterans on behalf of the Purple Heart Project of Texas.
For Delilah, this was especially meaningful. The Boys & Girls Club has poured so much into her journey, and having the opportunity to give back to an organization that has given so much to her made this moment incredibly special as she helped these students get ready for the new school year.
None of this would be possible without the generosity of our community and the incredible support we’ve received from across the great state of Texas. Every donation helped make a difference, and because of your kindness, more military families are heading into the school year with one less thing to worry about.
It is truly an honor to serve those who have served us. Being able to support the children of our local veterans who attend the Boys & Girls Club of Boerne is a privilege we never take for granted.
