We are incredibly grateful to our longtime partner, Liberty Federal Credit Union, for helping more families build strength, stability, and self-reliance through homeownership.
Thanks to a $60,000 grant through the Federal Home Loan Bank's Community Multiplier Program and an additional $15,000 contribution from Liberty FCU, Habitat for Humanity of Evansville has received a total investment of $75,000 to support our mission.

Home Dedication #656

Last night, we celebrated a milestone that was years in the making. After months of hard work, commitment, and determination, Naneesha officially got to celebrate in her new home!

The journey to homeownership is never easy. Through sweat equity hours, homeowner education classes, and countless sacrifices along the way, Naneesha stayed focused on her goal of creating a brighter future for herself and her family. The joy in the room was a powerful reminder that a Habitat home is so much more than four walls and a roof. It's the result of perseverance, partnership, and a dream that becomes reality through dedication and hard work.

A special thank you to the Hollander Family for sponsoring this home and helping make this moment possible. For decades, the Hollander family has been a steadfast supporter of Habitat for Humanity of Evansville, helping families achieve the stability and opportunity that come with affordable homeownership. Their generosity and long-standing commitment have left a lasting impact on our community. We are also especially grateful to Teri Hollander Albin, Habitat board member and dedicated advocate for our mission.

Congratulations, Naneesha! We are honored to celebrate this achievement with you and can't wait to see the memories you create in your new home. ❤️🏡

Yesterday we celebrated Destinie and the incredible journey she has taken to become a homeowner. Through hard work, determination, and perseverance, she completed her sweat equity hours, homeowner education classes, and every milestone along the way. Surrounded by the support of family, friends, and the Habitat community, Destinie’s story is a powerful reminder of what can happen when dedication meets opportunity. We are so proud to have partnered with her on this journey for Home #655!

This home was generously sponsored by Catholics for Habitat and the Moll Family Foundation, whose shared commitment to affordable homeownership helped make this dream a reality. We are deeply grateful for their investment in families and their dedication to building stronger communities through safe, affordable housing.

We want to extend a special thank you to Catholics for Habitat for their incredible partnership throughout this build. Their volunteers, advocacy, and faithful commitment to Habitat’s mission played an important role in bringing this home to life. Thanks to Luke Nordine, Habitat board member and dedicated partner with Catholics for Habitat, whose passion, service, and hands-on involvement have made a lasting impact on our organization and the families we serve.

Congratulations, Destinie! We are honored to celebrate this milestone with you and are excited to welcome you home. ❤️🏡
