Cancer Pathways Midwest

Cancer Pathways Midwest Cancer Pathways Midwest is a non-profit organization that provides support and resources to anyone impacted by cancer. Together We Are BIGGER Than cancer

Cancer affects a person’s thoughts, feelings, moods, beliefs, ways of coping and relationships. Our licensed mental health professionals provide support in a beautiful, welcoming (non-clinical) space that provides healing, validation and empowerment. We work alongside each person’s treatment team, family and friends, at no cost to them or their family, to help them navigate their mental, emotional

, and social needs through:

-Individual, family, and couples counseling
-Peer to Peer support
-Art Therapy (we have the only two Art Therapist in the Tri-state)
-A Variety of Support Groups
-Education, wellness and nutrition, resources, as well as
-Social support (connecting with others that “get it”)

Cancer doesn’t just impact the person diagnosed, it affects our entire community! Every dollar you give provides support, resources and education to individuals and families, in our very own community, who are impacted by cancer, at no cost to them!

🍽️ Help Us Keep the Meal Train Going! 💙

A meal can be more than just food. For someone newly diagnosed with cancer, a caregiver, or someone grieving a loss, sharing a meal can create a space for connection, validation, and healing.

Our Meal Train program brings people together to support one another during some of life’s most difficult moments—and we need your help to keep it going!

There are several ways to get involved:

🥘 Become a Meal Host — Prepare and provide a meal for one of our support groups.

💙 Become a Meal Sponsor — Support the program financially so meals can be provided even when volunteers aren't able to cook.

👥 Bring Your Group — Churches, coworkers, fraternities/sororities, service groups, and other organizations can come together to volunteer and make a meaningful difference.

🎁 Donate or provide gift cards — If cooking isn't your thing, you can still help make these meals possible!

If you'd like to help, check out the available dates and details and sign up to participate.

💙 Refueling Those Who Care for Others

The people who care for those facing cancer give so much of themselves every day. So, we were grateful for the opportunity to give a little something back to the oncology professional who show up with compassion, expertise, and care for their patients and families.

Our Oncology Refuel event was a chance to pause, connect, recharge, and simply say thank you to the incredible people working on the front lines of cancer care.

We’re so grateful to everyone who joined us and helped make this event possible. It was an honor to spend time with the people who do so much for our community. 💙

Thank you for all that you do.
and a big thank you to El Charro Mexican Evansville for providing dinner.
And thank you to Seton Harvest and Starbucks in Newburgh for donating gift baskets.

Today, we want to give a big shout-out to Lighthouse Family Retreat for the incredible work they do for families impacted by childhood cancer.

Lighthouse creates restorative retreats where families can step away from the chaos of cancer treatment, reconnect with one another, make lasting memories, and simply experience some time together as a family.

Their retreats are built around rest, joy, connection, and hope, something every family navigating childhood cancer deserves.

We’re grateful for organizations like Lighthouse that understand just how important that is.

🎨 Meet Hanna

At Cancer Pathways Midwest, we know that support can look different for everyone. Sometimes, finding a way to express what you're feeling doesn't happen through words, and that's where art therapy can make a meaningful difference.

Please join us in getting to know Hanna P., Art Therapist!

Hanna uses the creative process as a tool to help individuals impacted by cancer explore emotions, express themselves, and find moments of connection and healing.

No art experience is needed. You don't have to be an artist to benefit from art therapy. 💙

Whether you're facing a diagnosis, supporting someone you love, living beyond cancer, or grieving a loss, Cancer Pathways Midwest offers FREE resources and support to help you navigate the emotional side of cancer.

We know that healing and support can happen in many different ways, and last Saturday was a great reminder that sometimes it starts with simply showing up and building together.

We’re grateful to Habitat for Humanity of Evansville for inviting us to be part of the Supporters and Survivors Build, bringing cancer supporters and community partners together to build something meaningful for local families while raising awareness of a disease that impacts 1 in every 3 families.

We’re proud of our staff and supporters who gave their time, energy, and a little sweat equity to make a difference alongside our community partners. 🖌️💙
