Happy Tails Resale Shop The Happy Tails Resale Shop opened in November 2014 at the Vanderburgh Humane Society. It is volunteer-run and 100% of proceeds benefit VHS animals.

The Happy Tails Resale Shop opened in November 2014 as an extra source of income for the Vanderburgh Humane Society. The shop is run entirely by dedicated volunteers, so 100% of the shop's proceeds go toward caring for our shelter animals! Location:

- Prices are not listed. Only volunteers are aware of item prices and specifics.
- Item delivery and donation pickup is not available.
- When purchasing large items, please arrange pickup with the shop volunteers.

On behalf of Diane and our Happy Tails volunteer team, we're sad to let you all know that we said goodbye to Hazel over the weekend. She was almost 15.

Hazel came to the VHS in 2022 after being adopted & returned multiple times. She was already a senior at that point. Diane, who has been mom to many a pit bull mix over the years, took her home as a foster. And the rest is history. She was a pampered princess from that point forward.

Hazel loved seeing all our Happy Tails customers over the years (and probably barking at them sometimes, too!) She was a great girl and we will miss her very much. 🌈🐾
