Daisy's New Beginnings

Helping those in need get the fresh start they deserve. Our primary mission is to help fund major medical procedures for dogs in shelters.

Our goal is to help these dogs become eligible for adoption.

Join us on Saturday, March 14th, at Pat Coslett's Simplicity Furniture for a great night of comedy, friends, fun, dogs, and fundraising for dogs in need. Our Top Comic event, presented by Lux Motors, is bringing back the hilarious David Scott. Christie Martin - ERA First Advantage Realty INC. is sponsoring a tremendous night of entertainment that will include live music, comedians, and some surprises.

Doors will open at 5:30pm with live music starting at 6pm. The comedy show will start at 8:00pm. There will be a food truck in the parking lot and the bar will be provided by Prime Time Pub and Grill Newburgh. Admission is $20 per adult. All proceeds will go directly to the medical care of dogs in local shelters who need major medical support.

This past year, your continued generosity has allowed us to help dogs from It Takes a Village No-Kill Rescue, New Hope Animal Rescue, PAAWS No-Kill Animal Rescue, and Humane Society of Henderson County Kentucky. We thank you for your continued support.

Arnold needs our help. He is with the Humane Society of Henderson County Kentucky. Below is a note they have provided about Arnold. To help him, you can visit our donation page at www.daisysnb.com.

Meet Arnold.
He’s a 4-year-old coonhound with the happiest, goofiest personality. The kind of dog who makes you smile without even trying — always ready for love, always wagging, always just happy to be here. ❤️

But right now… Arnold is fighting for his life.

Just yesterday, he seemed okay.
Today, he became lethargic, developed a fever, and began passing bloody mucus.

We rushed him to the emergency vet, where he was diagnosed with severe pneumonia.

💔 Arnold is now hospitalized in an oxygen chamber, on IV fluids, and receiving intensive care.

The good news is he’s already showing small signs of improvement — but he is not out of the woods yet. The next 24–72 hours are critical.

As a small, nonprofit shelter, emergencies like this hit us hard. But when one of our animals needs help, we don’t walk away.

💰 Arnold’s care is estimated between $3,800 – $4,700, with a large deposit required just to begin treatment.

We can’t do this alone.

Earl needs our help. Earl was surrendered by a breeder due to injuries to his rear legs. It Takes a Village No-Kill Rescue has Earl and is working with a Veterinarian to ensure that Earl gets healthy enough to be adopted and live a happy life.

There will also be a showdown between the FOP Lodge #73 Evansville, IN and Evansville Professional Fire Fighters Local 357 to see who can best handle the heat. Open Men's and Open Women's divisions are both limited to the first 12 paid entrants. Go to www.daisysnb.com to register today.

Wings and bar will be provided by Prime Time Pub and Grill Newburgh . Attendees will also be able to try some of the hot wings for themselves. $5 admission charge (kids 15 and under are free) along with all proceeds raised will benefit Daisy's New Beginnings. We have been asked by New Hope Animal Rescue to help Camo have a tumor above his left eye removed. Camo is 3 years old and prior to getting to New Hope has spent his entire life outside on a chain. He is super sweet and will be looking for a loving, forever home when he has recovered. If you would like to meet or adopt Camo, please contact New Hope directly.
