After the next Baby Bank on Sunday, August 2nd, we will be closing until further notice as we seek the Lord's direction and make some prayerful decisions regarding the future of this ministry.
I want to be as transparent as possible.
While Baby Bank has been a blessing to many families over the years, I believe the ministry has gradually drifted from the original heart and purpose for which it was started.
When Baby Bank began, the vision was to come alongside women facing unplanned pregnancies- specifically those who were considering abortion or had made the decision to choose life for their babies. My desire was to provide essential items, resources, mentorship, and a supportive community as they navigated that journey.
Over time, Baby Bank naturally grew into more of a general assistance program serving families with a variety of needs. While I am grateful we have been able to help so many people, I believe it is time to prayerfully refocus the ministry on its original mission.
This decision is not about caring less for families in need. It is about being faithful to the specific calling God placed on my heart when Baby Bank began: walking alongside mothers and families who have chosen life for their babies and providing them with practical support, encouragement, and community.
