North Texas Giving Day is upon us. We would greatly appreciate any donation made to the Euless Library Foundation ("ELF"). While our taxes do support the library and staff, ELF adds additional support for the library. We funded the children's programs on Fridays during the Summer, the bubble wall, and more.

Family Discovery Hour is a hands-on program where families can learn and create together. Each month features a different activity designed to spark creativity, curiosity, and fun!

🎒 Our first adventure? Create your very own back-to-school backpack charm—the perfect way to add a little personality to your bag! ✂️🎨✨

The adventure is intended for families with children ages 5–12 and starts Saturday, September 5th from 2-3PM! 🌟🖍️🔬🎭

Join our FREE ESL for Customer Service classes in partnership with Irving ISD Adult Education & Literacy! Whether you're preparing for a customer service job or looking to strengthen your communication skills, these classes are a great opportunity to learn in a supportive environment.

🗓 Registration & Testing (ONE DAY ONLY!)
August 26 | 4:30 PM – 6:00 PM

✅ Complete your online registration
✅ Attend in-person testing (required for class placement)
✅ Bring a government ID

Testing is offered in partnership with Irving Independent School District, and must be completed to enroll in the correct class level.

Giving children age-appropriate chores is about more than keeping the house tidy. Chores help build valuable life skills that last a lifetime.

Chores can help children:
✨ Develop responsibility.
✨ Create independence.
✨ Strengthen organizational and time management skills.
✨ Learn the importance of teamwork and contributing to the family.
✨ Balance responsibilities with play.

Start small, offer encouragement, and remember that learning new skills takes practice. Every little task is a step toward greater confidence and responsibility.
