One of the 'beauties' of Friendship is Accountability. That it is why I love this scripture:

Proverbs 27:17 King James Version (KJV)
17 Iron sharpeneth iron; so a man sharpeneth the countenance of his friend.

So many times we have misused friendships and used them as "free passes" "hookups" or as the "easy way out" of difficult situations we really should experience, learn, and gain Wisdom from.

Create a litmus test for your friendships and develop them into healthy relationships that will GROW and STRENGTHEN each of you.

Heavenly Father, thank You for the gift of Your Word. Guard my heart from deception and pride. Give me a spirit that is humble, teachable, and obedient to Your truth. Help me not to settle for knowledge alone, but to pursue a deeper relationship with You that transforms every part of my life. Let Your truth guide my steps each day. In Jesus' name, Amen.
