We help writers of all genres and experience levels to produce and promote professionally published work. We do this by providing read-and-critique sessions, educational activities, ongoing author support, networking opportunities and a welcoming, inclusive community.

Longtime DFW Writers’ Workshop member and author Daryle M. McGinnis has added two of his books to our library: Westport Landing (Historical Fiction) and Thirty Years of Flying (Memoir). 📚

A retired USAF and Delta pilot, litigation attorney, and prolific writer, Daryle has been writing since childhood and is known for his passion for storytelling rooted in real-life experiences. He believes the joy of writing comes first—publication comes second—and his dedication to the craft has inspired fellow writers in our workshop for years.
