North Texas SNAP is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization serving individuals 17 and older living with intellectual disabilities. In 1999, a group of parents frustrated by the fragmented social service system founded North Texas SNAP to provide a solid support system for their adult children living with intellectual disabilities. North Texas SNAP was built on the premise that all persons, regardless

of their disability, have the right to enjoy the same range of life experiences in which others in their communities enjoy. Our members have the same hopes and dreams as their peers living without intellectual disabilities; they want to have jobs, friends, relationships and decent affordable housing. We are committed to helping our members achieve these goals and providing them with a solid support system for generations to come.

Have you heard of North Texas SNAP? We are a non-profit organization serving 130 members with intellectual and developmental disabilities. NTX SNAP is located in Colleyville and offers a large variety of programs, classes, and social events for our members ages 17 and older.

We are holding an Open House for potential members on April 7th. It is a “come and go” event from 4:30-7:00 PM. Make plans to attend with your family or caregiver. Please RSVP by March 31st. We look forward to meeting you!
