Meet the Su’s!
Sue, Susan and Suzie! These three amazing women bring something completely unique to our MTA family. These Su’s may share a name, but each one shines in her own way. ✨ Let us introduce you!
🍎 Our number one Sue has been with us for a long time, rotating through several volunteer roles over the years. She’s family to us. We’ve gone through life’s ups and downs together and just like she’s always there for us, we’re always here for her too! These days she’s literally helping keep us rolling by providing a safe parking space for our truck when it’s not in use! She’s also incredibly generous, often sharing her boxes with neighbors and she’s become such a valuable source of knowledge and support within our canning community.
🍎 Our second Susan (Never Sue! 😊 ) joined us and immediately became one of those volunteers we knew we could count on. She’s always willing to jump in and stay as long as needed. Even after returning to full-time work, she still squeezes us in whenever she can. Susan has also played a huge role in helping grow our canning education program. She helped us find our facility and build the relationship with the event space that allowed this program to truly take off. We’re beyond grateful because now we are off and running! She’s deeply involved in the canning classes, but when she’s not preserving our bounty she’s on site helping wherever needed.
🍎 And then there’s sweet Suzie. She’s sweet as apple pie… literally! 🥧 She keeps our sweet tooths satisfied week after week with her delicious baked goodies. She also creates beautiful cakes for our volunteer birthdays each month, making everyone feel celebrated and loved. Her kindness matches her treats perfectly. She’s thoughtful, caring, helpful and just an absolute joy to have around.
Three volunteers with hearts of gold 💛 and important pieces of what makes MTA so special. 🍎
