Some dogs burst into the room.

Lt Danielle feels more like the one who quietly walks over, leans into your side, and makes you wonder how you ever got along without her. 🤎

At 5 years old, this beautiful brindle girl has a gentle spirit and an easy kind of presence. She’s past the puppy chaos, but still has plenty of life ahead of her—and she gets along well with other dogs, which could make her a lovely addition to the right home with a canine companion.

There’s something especially lovely about an adult dog who already knows who she is. Lt Danielle doesn’t need to be the loudest dog in the room to be noticed. She just needs the right person to notice **her**.

A person who sees the soft eyes behind the brindle coat. The steady companion beneath the shelter label. The dog who has been waiting for someone to choose her.

Doug has the heart of an explorer and the manners of a gentleman.

At just 1 year old and 50 pounds, this handsome tan-and-brown mixed-breed boy is ready to discover what life looks like beyond the shelter—with someone he can call his own.

Doug’s striking brown ears and nose give him an unforgettable look, but it’s his friendly, gentle nature that really stands out. He’s already showing how smart he is, and he walks beautifully on leash, which makes him an excellent candidate for neighborhood strolls, weekend hikes, and all the little adventures in between.

Doug has done well with other dogs. His compatibility with children, cats, and other animals is currently unknown, and his house-training history has not been provided, so adopters should speak with the shelter about current observations and thoughtful introductions.

He’s young enough to be excited by everything, but steady enough to make you feel like you’ve found a true companion.

Congrats Zazu

Zazu is still learning how to dog. And apparently, he’s decided to make it everybody’s entertainment. 😂❤️

At 3 years old, this big, goofy husky mix has plenty of enthusiasm, plenty of personality…and a few unfinished chapters in the manners department.

Zazu loves to play, move, explore, and make people laugh. He’s smart and eager to learn, but he’ll need someone willing to keep working on his basic training with patience, consistency, and a sense of humor.

He also gets along well with female dogs and may enjoy having a canine playmate who appreciates his particular brand of enthusiasm.

Zazu is also heartworm positive, so his adopter should be prepared to work with the shelter on what his treatment and care will involve.

He may be a little rough around the edges right now—but sometimes the best dogs aren't the ones who arrive perfectly polished.

They're the ones you get to grow with. ❤️
