šŸÆ Somehow, Tiger is still waiting.

And that means thereā€™s still someone out there who hasnā€™t realized yet that their dog is sitting right here.

Tiger has already done something pretty remarkable. He came into care unsure of himself, then slowly began discovering that the world could be a pretty wonderful place. With patience, encouragement, and a little help from his sister Cutie, that cautious boy started to bloom.

Now? Thereā€™s so much more Tiger to love.

Heā€™s playful. Heā€™s energetic. Heā€™s affectionate. Heā€™s 55 pounds of ā€œwhat are we doing next?ā€ wrapped around a heart that just needed a little time to feel safe enough to show itself.

And yet, Tiger still hasnā€™t been adopted.

Maybe his person just hasnā€™t seen him yet.

Maybe theyā€™re scrolling right now, looking for a dog who can join them on adventures and then soak up all the affection theyā€™re willing to give.

Maybe they have another dog at home and are wondering if Tiger could be their new best friend. He may enjoy having a canine companion; Kenton County Animal Services simply requires a meet-and-greet to make sure everyone agrees itā€™s a good match.

Tiger doesnā€™t need us to feel sorry for him.

He needs us to share him.

Because somewhere out there is a person who is going to look at that face and wonder how everyone else managed to miss him.

Dunkin runs on two speeds: LETā€™S GOOOOO and belly rubs. šŸ˜‚ā¤ļø

At just 1 year old, this 53-pound Boxer mix is basically enthusiasm with paws. Heā€™s friendly, extremely playful, and always ready for the next adventure.

But once the playing is done? Dunkin has another important appointment.

Heā€™ll happily roll onto his back and remind you that his belly is not going to rub itself.

Dunkin is the best kind of contradiction: playful enough to keep life interesting and cuddly enough to make staying home pretty great, too. With other dogs, heā€™ll need slow introductions so everyone has time to get comfortable.

Toulouse has places to go, people to love, and absolutely no plans to be boring. ā¤ļø

At almost four years old, this Boxer mix is the kind of girl who seems ready to put an exclamation point at the end of every day.

Playtime? Yes. Adventures? Absolutely. Hanging out with her people? Clear the calendar.

Toulouse is fun-loving, energetic, social, and happiest when life includes something to do and someone to do it with. Sheā€™s currently in foster care, where we know she has lived successfully with cats. She also enjoys playing with dogs outside the home, though the shelter notes that a meet with potential canine housemates is required.

Sheā€™s also house trained, which means Toulouse has already mastered one of the less glamorousā€”but highly appreciatedā€”skills of becoming somebodyā€™s new roommate.

What she needs now is the roommate part.

The person who sees an ordinary Tuesday and thinks, we could make something out of this.

A walk. A game. An adventure. Then home together when the day is done.

Because Toulouse isn't looking for a life she has to watch from the sidelines. She wants to be part of yoursā€”the fun parts, the everyday parts, and all those little moments in between that become the memories you didn't know you were making.
