SUMMARY
What does it mean to move forward when the way ahead is uncertain? In Exodus 33:12–23, Moses asks God for assurance that God’s presence will continue to accompany the Israelites. He longs to know God more deeply and discovers that the journey depends not on human strength, but on God’s faithful presence and grace. In 1 Thessalonians 1:1–10, Paul celebrates a community whose faith, love, and hope have become visible to others. Their lives testify to the transforming power of the gospel. Together, these passages invite us to trust that God is with us even when we cannot see the whole picture. Faith is more than believing the right things; it is learning to follow God with courage, embody Christ’s love, and live with hope. Join Lakeside Church as we explore how God’s presence sustains us, shapes our relationships, and sends us into the world as witnesses to grace.
