Today, CASA of the Northern Bluegrass Region recognizes Juneteenth, a day commemorating the end of slavery in the United States and celebrating freedom, resilience, and progress.

Juneteenth serves as an opportunity to reflect on our nation's history, honor the contributions of Black Americans, and reaffirm our commitment to ensuring that every child has the opportunity to be heard, supported, and valued.

As advocates for children, we recognize the importance of building communities where all children can thrive and where every voice matters.

In observance of Juneteenth, the CASA office will be closed today and will reopen on Monday, June 22.

This Memorial Day, CASA of the Northern Bluegrass Region honors and remembers the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. 🇺🇸

As we spend time with family and friends today, we pause in gratitude for the sacrifices that protect the freedoms we cherish. We also recognize the many military-connected children and families in our communities who carry the impact of that service every day.

CASA volunteers advocate for children in the family court system and help ensure they are seen, heard, and supported during difficult times.

We are halfway through Kentucky Gives Day and halfway to our $2,000 goal — but we still need your help!

More than 1,500 children in the Northern Bluegrass Region are waiting for someone to speak up for them.

CASA volunteers advocate for children in the family court system, ensuring they are seen, heard, and supported during some of the most difficult times in their lives.

Every dollar makes a difference.

For every $1,000 raised, we can support one additional volunteer advocate for a child in need.

There is still time to help us reach our goal and make an impact for children in our community today.
