A person’s ability to read, speak, or explain theology does not determine the depth of their relationship with God. People with intellectual disabilities can grow in faith, share the Gospel, lead worship, and strengthen the faith of everyone around them.

Every person bears God’s image. Every person is invited to know Jesus, experience His love, and walk closely with Him. ✨🙏

FIRE Foundation of Northern Kentucky President Missy Hail recently delivered Sacramental Prep Kits to our partner schools, including St. Pius X Catholic School in Edgewood, Kentucky.

These resources help support students of all abilities as they prepare to receive the sacraments and continue growing in their Catholic faith. ❤️

🔥 A BEAUTIFUL REMINDER THAT WE ALL BELONG. 💙
Our Mass of Belonging at the Cathedral Basilica was a beautiful celebration of faith, inclusion and the belief at the heart of FIRE Foundation NKY—that every person is valued, loved and has a place to belong.
As Jesus reminds us in John’s Gospel:
“Love one another as I have loved you.” — John 15:12 ❤️
Thank you to everyone who gathered with us to celebrate a Church and a community where people of all abilities are welcomed, included and loved.

Known for her "Little Way," St. Thérèse showed us that immense love can be found in the smallest acts of kindness. Today, we celebrate her legacy alongside our wonderful partner, St. Therese Parish & School!
Through their dedication to glorifying God in little ways, St. Therese plays an essential role in helping FIRE Foundation NKY make inclusive Catholic education a reality for children of all abilities.
