It’s another Founder Friday and we’re excited to celebrate Lou Spinazze from our Winter 2026 DAV Patriot Boot Camp cohort.

Branch of service: Army

Bio: Lou Spinazze is the founder of Drone 2 Business (D2B), a platform that helps drone pilots and small operators turn their flying skills into sustainable businesses. A career citizen soldier, Lou has served for more than three decades in the California Army National Guard. Based in the Greater Sacramento, California, area, Lou currently serves as a training coordinator with CAL FIRE, designing systems that help people learn quickly and perform under pressure. He brings that same mindset to his work as a remote pilot instructor working with organizations where he helps veterans step into commercial drone careers as confident, FAA-certified remote pilots.
D2B helps solo pilots and small teams manage leads, quotes, missions, compliance, invoicing and deliverables from end to end, using workflows and pricing tools shaped by real-world aerial operations. D2B also helps drone businesses get discovered by the right clients, matching their services with local demand so they can spend more time flying and less time chasing work. As it grows, D2B will power a marketplace that connects organizations that need aerial data, like real estate, inspection and construction with trusted local pilots, making it easier to launch, grow and scale a modern drone business.

Keith Jenkins is a retired Army Command Sergeant Major with more than 24 years of service in Army Aviation. He is the founder and CEO of Warrior's Crown, a veteran-owned, American-made premium scalp care brand. His company is dedicated to helping bald and head-shaving men protect, hydrate and confidently embrace their crowns. Keith is an alum of DAV Patriot Boot Camp’s Fall 2025 cohort and a DAV member.

It’s another Founder Friday and we’re excited to celebrate John Wilkinson, a Winter 2026 DAV Patriot Boot Camp alum.

Bio: John Wilkinson has lived in Florida for 26 years. He graduated from Broward Community College with an associate’s degree in management information systems in 2004, Kaplan University with a bachelor’s degree in information technology in 2010, and Purdue Global University with an MBA in 2025. After planning to start a small hydroponic farm two years ago, he is ready to execute his plans. Smarttech Farms was founded two years ago and was created to become a self-sufficient farm selling everything organic such as eggs, honey, rabbits, and vegetables. Smarttech Farms is dedicated to quality products and supplying local and neighboring communities.

Happy Founder Friday! This week, we’re meeting Christopher Wysong, an alum of the Winter 2026 DAV Patriot Boot Camp cohort.

After completing a career in military service, he pursued entrepreneurship to make home baking simpler and healthier. A Marine veteran with nearly two decades supporting U.S. intelligence missions, Joshua specialized in transforming complex data into clear, actionable insight—a skill he now applies to Main Street. His background in leading high-pressure operations and building data-driven systems shaped Omnyra’s prescriptive approach to small-business guidance. As a multi-business owner and graduate of UNC Kenan-Flagler’s MBA program, Joshua combines hands-on experience, technical discipline and entrepreneurial drive to create practical tools that help other owners see clearly and act boldly.

It’s another Founder Friday and we’re excited to celebrate Chance Froebe from our Winter 2026 cohort of DAV Patriot Boot Camp.

Branch of service: Marine Corps

Bio: Chance Froebe grew up in Independence, Kansas, and joined the Marines at 18, serving five years as a helicopter mechanic and aircrewman. After leaving the military, he worked several civilian jobs before becoming a wildland firefighter on a helicopter crew in Southern Colorado and now serves as a lead firefighter outside Boulder. Years of physically demanding work are beginning to take a toll on his body, pushing him to look for a sustainable way to continue serving. All-Hazard Aviation Company allows Chance to stay connected to the mission-driven community he served while building a future rooted in purpose, service and giving back.

All-Hazard Aviation Company was founded in late 2024 in the mountains of Colorado by two wildland firefighters on an all-hazard fire/rescue helicopter crew. The brand began with purpose-driven apparel inspired by helicopter fire, rescue, and utility aviation, quickly resonating with fellow veterans, aviators, and first responders. Following steady growth, the company is expanding beyond print-on-demand to small-batch bulk sourcing through partnerships with other small businesses. It’s another Founder Friday and we’re excited to celebrate Gene Perry, a Winter 2026 DAV Patriot Boot Camp alum.

Branch of service: Army

Bio: Gene Perry has 20 years of active Army service and more than 14 years as a security and safety consultant. He started Summit Risk and Resilience Services with the mission of delivering a risk-based consulting service to advise security and emergency preparedness solutions that considers the cost-benefit and return on investment of financial and operational investments in security and safety programs. His early success in building the business has led to a current staff of three employees, and he is looking forward to growing. Gene is board certified in Security Management, Physical Security, and Project Management, and he has a master’s degree in business and organizational security management from Webster University.

Summit Risk and Resilience Services provides security and safety risk management consulting services to federal, state, and local government agencies, critical infrastructure owners, and community lifelines. From planning and assessments to implementation and ongoing support, the company delivers insights and practical strategies that enable its clients to plan and protect people, secure assets, and sustain mission-critical operations before, during, and after any hazard.
