All of our BBQ Bash prizes and raffles have officially been claimed!

Fun fact: for the second year in a row, the same family won our B**r Barrow! We were also so glad our Half Steer Raffle winner was able to join us at the event.

A big thank you to Mapledale Meats for partnering with us on the Half Steer Raffle.

They also offer local delivery to our area every Monday — order online and have it
delivered right to your door: https://mapledalemeats.com/

What a day! Our 3rd Annual BBQ Bash may have looked a little different with the rain, but thanks to everyone who showed up, rolled with the changes and brought the fun inside with us.

A huge thank you to our event partners for helping make the day possible: Heck Construction, Harding-Yost Insurance, Sharp Shopper Grocery Outlet, Members 1st Federal Credit Union and DenTech Industrial.

We’re especially grateful to Denver Cold Family of Companies for sponsoring our super fun and interactive Kids Zone, including hair tinsel with Pixie Perfect Hair by Hailey.

Thank you to Sei Catering Inc. for keeping everyone fed, Joyful Canvas for the balloon animals, Danny and the Do Overs for such a fun afternoon of music, and the Ephrata-Reading Elks Lodge #115 for once again hosting us and giving us the space to bring everything indoors.

We also want to thank Mapledale Meats for partnering with us on our half-steer raffle. The winner was selected and contacted at the event!

And of course, we could not have done it without our incredible volunteers, staff and everyone who came out despite the rain to support Community Hive.

Thank you for making BBQ Bash such a fun and meaningful day!

BBQ Bash is TOMORROW!

Rain or shine, the fun is still happening! With rain in the forecast, we’ll be moving the entire event inside the Ephrata-Reading Elks Lodge #115— but we’re still planning a full afternoon of great food, music, games, raffles and fun.

A huge thank you to Heck Construction, our B**r & Steer Sponsor, for helping make two of the day’s biggest highlights possible.

Thanks to their support, tickets includes two beverage tickets, and we’re also able to feature one of our biggest raffles of the event — half a steer from Mapledale Meats, approximately 300 pounds of beef!

We can’t wait to see you tomorrow!

A big thank you to Harding-Yost Insurance, a returning BBQ Bash sponsor and this year’s Band Sponsor!

Their support helps bring Danny and the Do Overs to the stage for live music throughout the event — and to wrap up their set, they’ll even lead guests through an instructed line dance.

We’re grateful to have Harding-Yost back supporting BBQ Bash and helping make the day even more fun.

A big thank you to Sharp Shopper Grocery Outlet Sharp Shopper, our Box Game Sponsor at BBQ Bash!

The Box Game is a fun and engaging way to learn more about food insecurity in our community. Guests will match food facts to boxes of different foods, and whatever box their fact matches is the prize they win! Prizes range from gift cards to experiences, with the highest-valued prize worth $100.

It’s just one of the many ways to win at BBQ Bash — including our biggest raffle prize, half a steer, approximately 300 pounds of beef!

Throwback Thursday to last year’s BBQ Bash! We shared some of this year’s prizes earlier this week, so now we’re showing you a few of the fun ways you can win them.

Try your luck at the Cup Game, grab a guaranteed prize from the Box Game, play the Card Elimination Game for a shot at the B**r Barrow or getaway, and check out our raffles + kids’ raffles.

New this year: our Half-Steer Raffle! Tickets are $20, available now with cash/check at our office, and you do not need to attend to win. We’ll also have tickets at the BBQ Bash while supplies last.

Planning to play? Bring cash for all the fun games and raffles!
