Team Jennifer Cahill Charities - Supporting Our Female Veterans MISSION STATEMENT! To learn more, please visit us at linktr.ee/tjcc. Jen was diagnosed with a stage 4 cancer, which is metastatic.

Our Mission is to Educate and Advocate for Women Veterans facing Cancer, MST, Homelessness, Domestic and intimate Partner Violence, Suicide Risk, and Final Expense Burdens. Team Jennifer Cahill Charities is a 501(c)(3) non-profit all volunteer organization benefiting female Veterans with terminal Cancer. Jennifer Cahill was a USAF veteran, a wife, a daughter, a sister and a stepmother to 2 amazing teenagers. The cancer was deemed treatable, not curable and non-survivable. After the realization that she did not have life or burial insurance, friends and family rallied to raise the funds to aid Jen and her family to prepay her final expenses and arrangements. During this time, she was also approached by other female veterans in the same position, terminal and not having the means to take care of their final expenses and arrangements. Jennifer saw a need to take care of our women warriors by making sure that these forgotten heroes are able to have their final expenses met and founded Team Jennifer Cahill Charities (TJCC). Sadly, Jennifer lost her battle February 13, 2022. The mission of TJCC is to preplan and prepay final expenses for female veterans with terminal cancer who don’t have life or burial insurance, have minimal burial coverage, or offset the expense should they choose a National or Authorized Cemetery for their final resting place. If you are a female Veteran or know a female veteran who has been diagnosed with terminal cancer and meet the requirements, we may be able to help. If you are not a woman who served in the Armed Forces, or someone who would like to contribute to our female Veterans and join them in their fight, please make a check payable to Team Jennifer Cahill Charities (TJCC also acceptable) and send to Team Jennifer Cahill Charities 14B South Seventh Street Akron PA, 17501 or online through

When Jennifer Morris Cahill, a United States Air Force Veteran, founded Team Jennifer Cahill Charities, she created something rooted in lived experience.

Her own journey through Stage IV metastatic cancer showed us how overwhelming it can be to need help while also trying to figure out:

Who do we call?
What resources exist?
Where do we even start?

That experience helped shape the work we continue today.

When someone is already overwhelmed, finding help should not become another burden.

That is why Team Jennifer Cahill Charities created THE TJCC BLUE BOOK™ — a first-of-its-kind Pennsylvania resource focused on helping women Veterans and those assisting them find clearer pathways to available services and support.

It is one more step toward bridging the gap between:

“I need help.”

and

“Here is where we can start.”

This ExtraGive, help us continue building that bridge.

❤️ SAVE THE DATE — NOVEMBER 20, 2026 ❤️

EXTRAGIVE 2026 | TEAM JENNIFER CAHILL CHARITIES

SHE SERVED. SHE STILL MATTERS.™

She answered her country's call.

She wore the uniform. She stood ready to serve. She made sacrifices that most of us will never fully understand.

But what happens when the woman who answered her country's call is the one who desperately needs someone to answer hers?

What happens when she's fighting cancer?

When she's carrying the pain of Military Sexual Trauma?

When she's trying to escape an abusive relationship?

When she's facing homelessness, struggling to make ends meet, or quietly losing hope?

What happens when she doesn't know who to call, where to turn, or whether anyone will listen?

Sometimes, the strongest woman in the room is the one struggling the most.

And sometimes, the woman Veteran who needs help is the very woman we never knew served.

❤️ THIS IS WHY WE NEED YOU.

On Friday, November 20, 2026, Team Jennifer Cahill Charities (TJCC) will participate in Lancaster County's ExtraGive — an extraordinary, one-day, 24-hour online giving event.

For one day, we are asking our friends, families, neighbors, businesses, and community to help us stand beside women Veterans who need to know they have not been forgotten.

TJCC was founded in loving memory of Jennifer Morris Cahill, a United States Air Force Veteran who lost her battle with metastatic cancer in 2022.

Jennifer's story did not end with her passing.

It became a mission to help other women Veterans find compassion, guidance, advocacy, and the resources they need when life becomes overwhelming.

Through our women Veterans programs, community partnerships, and THE TJCC BLUE BOOK™, we are working to ensure that the next woman Veteran who reaches out for help has a better chance of finding the right next step.

But we cannot do it alone.

On November 20, you will have an opportunity to be part of something that truly matters.

A donation of $10, $25, $50, $100, or whatever you can give can help move this mission forward.

And even if you cannot donate, you can help by sharing our message.

Because somewhere, a woman Veteran may be waiting for someone to recognize that she needs help.

She was there when her country needed her.

Will we be there when she needs us?

🇺🇸 MARK YOUR CALENDAR — FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 20, 2026.

More information and ways to support our ExtraGive campaign will be shared as the date approaches.

Please LIKE, SHARE, and help us reach others who believe that the women who served our country deserve to be seen, heard, and supported.

ASK THE NEXT QUESTION.

Sometimes a person in crisis will never say:

“I’m suicidal.”

Instead, you may hear:

“I’d be better off dead.”
“Things would be better if I wasn’t here anymore.”
“What I do doesn’t matter.”
“I’m a complete failure.”

Don’t dismiss those words.

Ask the next question:

“Are you thinking about su***de?”

It may feel uncomfortable.

Ask anyway.

Listen. Stay with her. Take the answer seriously. Help her connect with appropriate support.

Especially with women Veterans, we cannot mistake strength, independence, or simply continuing to function for being okay.

See her. Hear her. Ask the next question. Stay.

Help TJCC continue bringing women Veteran su***de awareness into our communities.

Sometimes the crisis is only the part we finally see.

Women Veteran su***de can be connected to struggles that have been building quietly for years.

Military Sexual Trauma.
Isolation.
IPV.
Housing instability.
Financial stress.
Health challenges.
Loss of trust.

And one statistic deserves attention:

Among female recent VA health care users, women who screened positive for Military Sexual Trauma had a su***de rate 45.3% higher than those who screened negative.

That is why su***de prevention cannot begin only at the moment of crisis.

See her earlier.
Hear her sooner.
Help her before crisis becomes the first thing we notice.

At Team Jennifer Cahill Charities, we are committed to bringing greater awareness to the unseen issues affecting women Veterans and helping communities recognize when someone may need support.

Some struggles are easy to see. Others are not.

A woman Veteran may be working, raising a family, caring for others, and showing up every day while carrying things no one around her knows about.

MST. Trauma. Isolation. Cancer. Financial strain. IPV. Loss. Exhaustion.

And sometimes, she may never be the one to say:

“I need help.”

That is why women Veteran su***de awareness matters.

We cannot wait for a crisis before we decide to notice her.

See her. Hear her. Check on her.

At Team Jennifer Cahill Charities, we are committed to bringing greater awareness to the issues women Veterans too often carry quietly—and helping connect them with resources and a next step.

If this mission matters to you, help us continue the work.

HELP US REACH HER.

The numbers are smaller. The disparity is not.

Women Veterans make up a smaller population, but women Veteran su***de deserves a much bigger conversation.

And when Military Sexual Trauma is part of the story, the risk rises again.

So ask yourself:

Do you know a woman who served?
Have you checked on her?

Call her. Text her. Invite her for coffee.

Sometimes awareness starts that simply.
