Wallowa Resources

Wallowa Resources Creating strong economies & healthy landscapes through land stewardship, education, & job creation.

Since 1996, we have enhanced opportunities on our forests and grasslands while caring for the land and water for future generations. Thriving rural communities must have strong education opportunities, a commitment to taking care of the land and water, and diverse, locally owned businesses. We work with public and private partners to support Wallowa County and other rural communities across Northeast Oregon.

When the 2022 wildfire threatened Lostine, neighbors showed up for each other, and their Firewise preparation made all the difference.

This Wildfire Awareness Month, we're celebrating communities across Northeast Oregon who are taking proactive steps to reduce risk, restore forest health, and look out for one another.
