After hearing concerns from several families, the Fair Board and superintendents have reviewed the target weight requirements for pigs at the initial weigh-in.

Some exhibitors may not be able to sell their animals, recognizing they may only qualify for feeder or overweight classes and showmanship.

In response, a 15-pound allowance will be added to the original target weights.

Please note: solicitation of buyers at the fair for animals that do not meet sale weight requirements is not permitted.
