First of many changes in store for Oklahoma’s best railroad museum.
Changes like this come from donations from our visitors and devoted fans of the museum. Please consider donating to the Enid Railroad Museum. Please contact us by phone, online or come by and see us.
The CSMRA calls the Enid Railroad Museum home. The members are very grateful to the museum for allowing us to showcase our love of model railroading at the museum.

By now you may have heard the Railroad Museum of Oklahoma is in the process of rebranding the museum. Not the location and not the mission but primarily the way the museum is presented to the public. The first step in that journey is our name. We have already been approved by the Oklahoma Secretary of State and are now waiting on the Internal Revenue Service to have our name changed to Enid Railroad Museum, Inc. We've been a 501c3 nonprofit corporation since 1978 and have been open to the public since April of 1989. During those 48 years, we've never fully accomplished our desire to tell the story of railroading in Enid where we live and work. With the name change, we are zeroing in on Enid's unique railroad history, what the railroads have done to develop and grow our city, and how railroading impacts the daily lives of so many citizens. The name change has come about as part of the museum's first-ever strategic five-year plan, recently put together by our Board of Directors facilitated by leadership from the Oklahoma Center for Nonprofits. The photo represents the first (but not final) visual representation of our new name. Special thanks to museum volunteer Kevin Oakley for creating it. Stay tuned and follow along as we reveal more of the strategic plan and, more importantly, what the changes and improvements will mean to our visitors and our community. We hope you will be as excited for the future of the Enid Railroad Museum as we are!
