Dear Friends,

I am writing to share that I will be stepping away from my role as Executive Director of the Enid Symphony Orchestra later this summer. In early July, I will be returning to my home state of Illinois to accept a position with the Illinois Symphony Orchestra.

This decision has been incredibly difficult. Over the past four years, it has been an honor and a privilege to serve the ESO and this remarkable community. From concerts and educational programs to fundraisers and community partnerships, I am deeply grateful for the relationships, memories, and experiences that have shaped my time here.

While I am excited for this next chapter and the opportunity to be closer to family and lifelong friends, leaving Enid is bittersweet. Oklahoma has truly become a second home to me, and I will always carry a deep appreciation for the kindness and support this community has shown both me and the orchestra. As I was once quoted in a 2023 Enid News & Eagle Article, “Enid not only needs but deserves Classical music.” I continue to stand by these words, as the hardworking people of Northwest Oklahoma deserve nothing but the very best in arts and quality of life.

I have complete confidence in the future of the ESO. The dedication of our phenomenal artists, board of directors, site staff, auxiliary, patrons, sponsors, and community supporters continues to make this organization something truly special. I know the ESO will continue to grow and thrive in the years ahead.

Thank you for allowing me the opportunity to be part of this wonderful organization and even more wonderful community. It has been one of the greatest honors of my professional life.

With all my gratitude,
Tori

🎶 ESO in print! ✨

A huge thank you to Enid Monthly for featuring the ESO in their recent spotlight on the arts in our community. We loved being part of this celebration of the creativity, talent, and passion that make Enid such a special place.

They quoted Executive Director Tori sharing: “Classical music, in particular, is far more diverse than many people realize, and we've been intentionally exploring its many dimensions. From traditional repertoire to film scores, video game music, and even modern and pop-influenced works, we aim to create programming that resonates with a wide range of people.”

From Beethoven to blockbuster soundtracks and everything in between, we’re proud to bring music to our community in new and exciting ways.

Thank you, Enid Monthly, for supporting the arts and helping share the stories that keep our creative community thriving! Check out this free publication distributed all around town. 🎻❤️
