VFW Post 2270 Enid, OK

Our next meeting is this Tuesday August 18th at 6pm. We meet at the DAV building. If you believe that you’re qualified to be a member come join us and bring a copy of your DD214. That way if you decide to join then you have everything ready to go.

We welcome all current members and any potential members to join us. Have to be a member to have a voting say in what goes on.

Spouses/immediate family members of a qualified member. We have our auxiliary for you. They are always looking for new members as well. They meet at the same time and location.

Come be apart of something more.

The Woodring airport is hosting their annual Fly in Breakfast and poker run on September 19th from 730 am to 10am. This year they are adding in another poker run for cars and motorcycles. That will be from 9 am to noon. There will be a bunch of different booths and probably some cars to just look at as well. They will have some food trucks out there too. Contact the airport to sign up. 

All proceeds from this event goes to benefit this VFW post. So please go out and join in on the poker run and partake in their events.

Our next meeting is Tuesday July 21st at 6pm. This is an open invitation to all post 9/11 vets who deployed. Bring a copy of your DD214 and come meet with us. We meet at the DAV center on west Walnut. If you know someone that has served in a foreign war then please let them know as well. We want to build this up and get to where we can do things for our fellow vets and the community.

$57 billion. 1.5 million veterans. Tinnitus. Sleep apnea. Conditions earned in combat. Stripped from future veterans to pay for other veterans' benefits.

Post 9/11 vets this is for you.

What would it take to get you involved in the VFW? This organization is for you. Just like it was for all the other vets in a foreign war. Come talk to us and let us know what you’re looking for in a post.

We are working on some major changes but it takes members to do a lot of things. It also really takes people to be active in that as well. We are a member driven organization. Nothing happens without members and not without them voting for it.
