Dani Gustavich, from the Northmont Branch of the Dayton Metro Library, was our guest speaker today at the Earl Heck Community Center for a senior lunch and learn program. A big thanks goes out to our friends at Cypress Pointe Health Campus for sponsoring today's event and providing lunch.

Unfortunately, we need to cancel today's Dementia Caregiver workshop. We apologize for the last minute notice, but the instructor is under the weather today. We plan to reschedule the class for August 14th.

The Empowered Caregiver series continues at the Earl Heck Community Center this Friday at 1:00 p.m. with a class on "Responding to Dementia Related Behaviors." These workshops are free to attend and no reservations are required. Classes are provided by the Alzheimer's Association.

Sinclair College returns to the Earl Heck Community Center in September to host another session of the Contemporary American Politics class . This popular class is open to all adults. See attached flyer for more information.

The members of the Englewood Senior Citizens' Club got together today at the Earl Heck Community Center to enjoy a pizza party and quarter auction fundraiser. All the proceeds from today's auction will help fund future club activities and events. A big thanks goes out to our friends at First Light Home Care for providing the pizza!
