Seen this “notification” on my C.Ph. and thought it was funny just as the Broadview, OH Police did.
It seems these German Citizens were caught speeding on US Interstate 71 between Columbus, OH and Cleveland, OH.
The Germans must have thought they were on the “Autobahn”, with its sections of “unlimited speed zones “.
The only difference is the Eisenhower U.S. Interstate System itself is only a copy of of the German Autobahn System brought to the United States after World War II and adopted by the President Dwight D. Eisenhower Administration in the 50’s.

It' going on 8 PM the wind is blowing and it is still raining. The weather, man said we received 2 1/2 to 3 inches of rain.
Anyway, we had a delicious Lenten dinner from St. Paul Catholic Church; lightly seasoned fried cod fish, French fries, and a delicious portion of coleslaw. Our dinner more and made up for the cold, damp and dreary day. God Bless!

This why joined something much larger than a local community club; I joined the Northmont Lions Club of Englewood, Ohio and became a Lion.

My club is one of 46,000 local Lions Clubs and I am one of more than 1.4 million members (Lions & LEO) in more than 200 countries. For more than 100 years the Lions motto has been, “We Serve” because, “Where there is a need, there is a Lion.”
