I was so happy to connect with Dave & Amy Freeman in Two Harbors today. They are biking around the state, towing a canoe to raise awareness about how important the midterms are in the fight against mining in the BWCAW! I signed their canoe and thanked them for their work and dedication to preserve and protect the Boundary Waters. Check them out at “Pedal to the Polls”. @ #@

Olivia Bledsoe is conducting a survey on silent illness in the outdoor industry and would greatly appreciate if you shared this information with everyone in the NLCBAA so we can get as many people participating as possible! The survey is attached below:

The goal of this study is to examine the experiences of employees with a silent illness(es) who currently work or have previously worked in the outdoor industry, as well as the perspectives of supervisors.
Olivia is seeking participants who are willing to complete a survey about their experiences. Employees and supervisors will complete separate surveys independently; participation by both individuals in the same workplace is not required. The surveys are anonymous, and responses will be analyzed separately to better understand both employee and supervisor perspectives.
