The mission of Contented Critters is to advocate for the underdogs and help animals in need through rescue, rehabilitation, appropriate veterinary care, and adoption.

Our vision is to reduce the community need for pet rescue through preemptive measures, such as a spay and neuter program for pets in our care, and community outreach and education.

Owl is still searching for her forever home ❤️ She has been slowly adjusting to life at Contented Critters, but is dreaming of her forever home that has a window with a view and spot to soak up the sun 🥹

As you can see, Owl is a curious and playful girl. She is still somewhat nervous with people, but she does so well with other cats and kittens! She is roughly a year old, spayed, and fully vetted.

Three kittens left, no fee! Just need a special home🩷

⚠️ IMPORTANT DISCLAIMER — PLEASE READ BEFORE APPLYING ⚠️

We want to be as transparent as possible with this litter.

Their mama, Auntie Whispers, unexpectedly passed away after testing positive for feline leukemia virus (FeLV).

Because these kittens are still young, we do not know whether FeLV was passed from their mama to them. Testing for kittens is most accurate at 6 months of age and above.

Because of this possibility:

•These kittens will need to be adopted together OR into a home without other cats to limit potential exposure to FeLV-negative cats.

•They must be indoor-only cats to prevent exposure to other cats.

Please educate yourself about feline leukemia virus and what it means to potentially own a FeLV-positive cat before applying. We want adopters to fully understand the potential risks and responsibilities so we can find the very best homes for these babies.

Adoption on hold-

Kittens in need of homes!🏠

The trio!

All of these kittens are sweet, playful, and curious.

Brooke (on the left) is more reserved and cautious than her sisters, but she's just as sweet and playful once she gets used to you!

Delta (in the middle) has been the most outgoing. She was the first kitten of this litter so say "I don't know about you girls, but I'm going to go explore and make friends!" And boy, did she. She has been having a blast playing with the other cats! She is also loves people and snuggling.

River (on the left) is just as playful and outgoing as Delta, and she loves to run around and play with the other cats and snuggle with the humans.
